A Metra practice derailed Saturday morning close to downtown Crystal Lake.

A Metra spokesperson confirmed the derailment and mentioned there have been no reviews of accidents. The practice left the tracks on the Route 176 overpass over Walkup Avenue.

All trains on the Metra UP Northwest line that have been sure for Woodstock and Harvard are terminating at Crystal Lake because of the derailment. Commuters attempting to catch trains at these stations have been inspired to hunt alternate transportation.

One inbound practice that was scheduled to go away Crystal Lake at 10 a.m. and arrive in Chicago at 11:23 a.m. didn’t run due to the derailment.
